About Us: Worship Services

Our Sunday services are traditional, directed by a liturgy printed in a bulletin. The liturgy includes responsive readings, prayers and hymn-singing that involve the whole congregation.

Our traditional services are held in the Sanctuary upstairs, where there is an altar up front, two sets of pews on either side of the aisle, and a choir loft on the right side of the altar. Our hymns are organ-led and/or piano-led and are selected from the United Methodist Hymnal, The Faith We Sing and sometimes other songs for which we provide lyrics, printed in the bulletin.

Contemporary Worship Services

Every first and third Saturday of each month, we gather in Thomas Hall downstairs from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. for a relaxed, contemporary style of worship.

The music is upbeat, led by praise bands on projected videos, with the lyrics for all the songs also projected on screen. You can come as you are, dress casually, sit, stand, kneel, raise your hands as you are moved and as you feel comfortable!

During the Summer...

We hold one service on Sundays during the summer, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. There is no Sunday School and no choir. We have a rotation of singers and soloists who provide Special Music during the summer. Do you love to sing but aren't comfortable in a choir? Talk to Pastor Kofi or Ed Wehmeyer, the Director of Music, and sign up to offer Special Music during the summer.
