 Description: Our annual Souper Bowl Sunday will be on February 5! After the second service, everyone is invited to Thomas Hall for a Souper meal. Each family is asked to provide either a homemade soup, a salad, or a bread. Please remember that larger portions are better, so all can taste that wonderful cooking. A canned food donation will be taken. Come with an appetite for fellowship and food!

 Description: Sign up to purchase pasties (with or without onions) in the Narthex. Each pasty is $5. Pasty pick-up will be February 9 from 3:30-5:30 pm at the church. During pick up, a wet bottom crumb pie will be available for purchase.

 Description: RUMC will be holding a public Spaghetti Dinner on March 10 from 4-7 pm,. The menu includes spaghetti & meatballs, salad, bread, lemonade, iced tea, coffee, hot tea, cupcakes, and homemade ice cream. The small fee of $9 per person pays for all-you-can-eat. A bake sale will also be held simultaneously. Volunteers and bakers are needed. Please see Allan Hill or Charles Hentz for additional details.

 Event: Bridge Ministry

 Description: The next Bridge Ministry event is scheduled for Wednesday March 21, 2012. We are planning chicken & broccoli bake, loaf of bread, stick of butter, cup cakes, brownies, or a comparable dessert. We will gather at Richmond UMC at 6 pm on this date and travel to the church on South 2nd Street in Easton to feed the folks attending the service. Anyone wishing to serve or prepare a meal not on the current list, please contact Carol & Charles Hentz at dcjitney@hotmail.com or 570-242-2033. We will place the recipe and aluminum pans in the Narthex after we contact the food preparation list in late February. The last meal trip was a great success, and we would like to thank all who participated in the event.

 Description:

For the past 39 years, the daffodil, the first flower of spring, has been a symbol of hope for the American Cancer Society. Each year, throughout the Lehigh Valley, you will find displays of daffodils at work, schools, home, and places of worship.

Daffodil Days offers a bunch of 10 daffodils, a vase of hope with 10 daffodils, as well as a new collectible Boyd's bear with daffodils. Daffodil Sunday will be March 25, 2012. Beginning February 5, there will be a sign up sheet in the Narthex. The deadline for preorders is February 21. If you have any questions or would like to place an order, please see Virginia DePue.

Cost (if any): The prices are as follows: Bear and a Bunch - $25; Vase and a Bunch - $15; Potted Mini Daffodils - $12; or Bunch of Daffodils - $10.
